Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of traditional music as well as traditional boleros. She also listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic performances. At the age 16, she started singing and studying music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense training in singing. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In her early career, she was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving to America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Ana is involved in a variety of local initiatives and is a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor at the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
