MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. His debut album ADN was released in 2017 by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It reached the number 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca the album that was the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. Mala Influencia came out as his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. Following that season, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. In 2021, he sang a duet. he sang a duet in 2021 alongside TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was a member of the musical home of his family. Both his younger brother and his mother are also musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. As a child, he was taught how to play guitar, the piano and ukulele. The initial goal was to be a veterinarian, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn singing with the help of a Cuban teacher.
